The Cyber Playground of John Newton
This site is a project under constant change. It is a place where I will experiment with various aspect of web development, as well as a place for me to show some of my photographs. I will add, move and even delete areas as the mood strikes me. So be on your toes as what was here yesterday may not be here tomorrow.
Please feel free to pass along comments. (Use the webmaster link in the footer.)
As part of my training in school to become a photographer, I was exposed to a number of different ideas. Some of the ideas have include photographing the nude human form. I find the human form to be incredibly beautiful. I also know and accept that some parents may not wish to have their children seeing such images, even when done in a tasteful manner. I have clearly marked the single gallery that has these images so that it may be avoided by those not desiring to see such images.
For those looking for explicit images, you won't find them here. You will need to look else where for them.
As for the names of any models appearing on this site, I will only refer you to their agent.
PARENTS:Concerned about your child's access to explicit material on the internet? Please consult one these services.
Some low life, ill breed, misbegotten piece of pond scum sucking shit managed to take down the FSZ board last night. It'll probably be a couple of days before I'm able to get something back up and working again. So Please be patient.
Well, it has been almost a year to date that I last worked on the site. I've been busy with my day job and not had much time for here. However, I hope to rectify that in the near future.
Amyway, I've changed the menu system to work a bit better and added a couple of minor feature and a lot of tweaks under the hood. I've also decided that JavaScript is not a bad thing. So, if you have JavaScript turned off in your browser, a couple of things will probably not work. So, turn JavaScript on when visiting here.
Welcome to the completely redesigned FOTOGRAPHIXS. I've rewritten the entire site using php and CSS. This is my first attempt/project utilizing PHP. A very powerful language which I've only just started to use. There will be more changes and additions in the not to distant future.
Made some changes to the style sheets to give the site a bit different appearance. No changes to any of the HTML. That is the beauty of CSS.
Added some links in the resource section. No I'm not going to tell you. You have to go look.
Also did some tewaking on some of the CSS for a slighjtly better presentation.
I've been playing with some of the CSS stuff providing various types of backgrounds and colors. Put in some more resourse items but no links as yet. Also cleaned up the 404 error page soit looks like it belongs to the site.
Refined a few things and continue to add pages. The latest is the Projects page.
Added the gallery page and the Copyright page. Making progress!
Added the resources page and links. Still needs some more "stuff" added to it.
Well, as some may have noticed, I've started the redesigned the site and made continue to make changes.
I've been an advocate of web standards for a while and felt it was time to but my money were my mouth is, so to speak. I've undertaken the redesign of this site so that it will not rely on frames nor tables. Tables are meant for displaying tabular data not doing layout work. To this end I have used XHTML and CSS standards in the development of this site. The ultimate goal is to have a scalable site that looks good in all modern browsers. In order to do this, I have had to make some trade offs. The most notable is that I don't make any attempts to support 4.x browsers. There is no need to when you can get a free browser that supports WC3 standards and will render this site quite nicely. It is also not prone to the problems of the older browsers.
I do use some Java Script in this site in order to turn "on" and turn "off" the various "layers". These are not the same layers as used back in the Netscape 4.x days, but rather division tags with the visibility attribute turned "off" initially. Additionally, I use Java Script for displaying the images in what might be called "pop-up" windows. Not to worry, you control these windows and there are no advertisements on this site.
Check out the Resources page for more information on XHTML, CSS, Browsers and standards that are used in the development of today's new web sites.
Firefox is one of the best browser available and has lots of extensions.

Camino is a browser for the Mac crowd. I don't know much about it.
Mozilla is a bit dated and being replaced by Firefox and Thunderbird.
